About Betty Doll, MBA, CLTC Owner/Principal
Betty has focused exclusively on Long Term Care Insurance since 1997. She holds the Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation.
Betty possesses extensive information regarding available products, provides an extraordinary level of customer service, and maintains a sensitivity to the feelings that discussion of long term care planning may evoke.
In addition to working directly with referrals, Betty teaches the Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation classes on a national level and has trained over a thousand financial services representatives across the country on the specifics of Long Term Care insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. She consults with insurance agencies around the country and is a nationally recognized speaker on topics pertaining to long term care.
Prior to joining the insurance industry, she worked on the clinical side of long term care which increased her knowledge of the limitations of Medicare and Medicaid and the importance of this coverage. Like many others, she has had experience with close family members needing care.
Betty has a Master of Business Administration degree from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. Being nationally recognized as an expert on long term care insurance, she is a frequent speaker for local clubs and organizations and also for regional and national conferences. She has recently been quoted in Kiplingers and in the Wall Street Journal.
Living in beautiful Asheville, NC, Betty is active in her community. She is an involved member of the Buncombe County Council on Aging, the Leadership Asheville Forum, and the North Carolina Stage Company. She is active in the National Association of Health Underwriters, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Association, and serves as an officer for the Land of Sky Estate Planning Council. She is an active member of the Asheville Downtown Rotary Club
